Welcome to the CREATOR Information WIKI. I incorporated the header of our church website into this WIKI. In fact, I am giving just about all of my sites that deal with site development the same look so there is a theme running across all of the platforms since the theme or template is transferable to a umber of different platforms and software tools. All of the links above will go to my church website that is manged by CREATOR.

Clicking on any of those links above - such as Welcome Visitor - will take you to my home church which I manage with CREATOR. You will notice the Claridon WEBSITE mirrors the template above. So, if you wish, give it a look then come back and read more.

I'll be {best policy, eh} honest. There are alot of folks out there that will sell you web design. But, be conscious of value. Ask the right questions. Perhaps the obvious ones. Or, should be the obvious ones. Who is your website going to serve? That will lead you to alot of other questions AND answers as to what the website should do or how it should function. As the late Peter Drucker would say, "What is your business and who is your customer". Just because you're a church does not let you off the hook. This isn't about selling soap. This is about making connections. Now that I have gotten that off my chest.

And, a little bio about me. This particular website uses a Content Management System known as WIKI. Perhaps you have heard of WikiPedia?. It uses a similar program for universal collaboration to a worldwide online encyclopedia. This website could be open, but, is not. All pages are password protected. But, it could be open to public edit access OR specific pages could be given different users AND different passwords. For more information on WIKI see WikiPedia on WIKI. WIKI can be a fantastic collaboration, team-effort tool. But, developing websites with an online editing is not just a feature of WIKI. I use and my customers use a fully tested and super program called CMSimple?. It allows password protected editing and other very valuable features for any non-profit or small business website. And, the template or theme that I can incorporate makes YOUR website unique.

Now, the truth of the matter is that I am inquisitive. I have looked at before (even installed) Word Press, Geek Log and other Content Management Programs. I have even recently looked again at Word Press. It has an impressive array of plugins, but, the program is huge. The ones that I have settled on are small in comparison. And, they work elegantly for the purpose made. The CMS program I use extensively (CMSimple?) is not created to be all things tightly wrapped in a huge box topped neatly with a oretty bow. But, it is very flexible. I use what I consider to be the best in that "small is beautiful" category for Image Galleries, Calendars and WIKI. So, that is where I stand and where I sit on the product I promote and sell. I don't sell a single package, I sell options. I think that works better for you in the long run. Then again, my customers call the shots. Whatever you require, I can deliver.
